From the 1970s to the early 2000s, Michael DeSisto, a self-taught therapist and educator, ran a pair of therapeutic boarding schools that eventually closed leaving behind a very checkered story and many unanswered questions. In this chapter, we explore the story which touches upon cults, haunted mansions, and places that eternally smell of pumpkin spice.
